Sunrise flight and breakfast
We collect you from your riad or hotel before dawn and drive out to the launch field, where you can watch the envelopes being inflated. The flight lasts about an hour, drifting over villages and irrigated land with the Atlas range to the south. After landing, breakfast is served in a Berber tent — bread, olive oil, amlou, mint tea — and there is a short camel ride before the drive back. You are usually returned to your hotel by 11:00.

What happens if the flight is cancelled?
Balloons only fly in safe wind conditions. If the pilot cancels, you are moved to the next morning or fully refunded — the decision is made at the field, not by us.
What time does it start?
Pick-up is between 5:00 and 6:00 depending on the season, because the air is calmest just after dawn. You are normally back at your hotel by late morning.
